Trading Club Banners

Trading club banners is a time honored tradition between Rotary clubs. The practice involves visiting Rotarians trading a copy of their club banner with the club they are visiting. These banners are often displayed on larger tapestries. Club president Greg MacDiarmid (L) is shown trading banners with Lyndonville Vermont president Chip Devenger (R). Greg was in town to enroll his son at the local private school and dropped in to the local Rotary club. Any Rotary club member is eligible to visit any other Rotary club anywhere in the world without invitation, being responsible for whatever meeting costs are customary.
