Today Rotarian Jack Christie (R) thanked Director of Provincial Affairs, NB Louis-Phillipe and District Manager Rachel Richard of The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) for speaking at our weekly meeting. Louis-Phillipe is responsible for the management of legislative affairs, identifying relevant issues and developing public and government relations strategies to advocate on behalf of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) in the province. CFIB is the country’s champion of small business. With over 110,000 members, they are Canada’s largest non-profit organization devoted to creating and supporting an environment where your business can succeed.
