Each year the Rotary Club of Newcastle sponsors a student to attend the Adventures in Citizenship program in Ottawa. MVHS student Alex Leslie – was this years applicant.  From April 28 – 31, 2018 Alex spent time with over 220 other seniors in Ottawa experiencing tours, lectures, discussions and social events designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of Canadian citizenship.
